The necklace part measures 33 inches long; the dangling part from the Center Medal to the tip of the Cross measures 8 1/4inches. The cone faceted beads measure 8mm and they have circular caps at the ends. There are unique filigree spacers. The Cross has a lot of detail with a handsome Corpus. It measures 2 1/4 by 1 1/2 inches and is inscribed "Sterling" in the reverse. The Center Medal measures 3/4 inch and shows Mary on one side Jesus on the other side. It is also inscribed "sterling.". These are large crystal beads, the largest we've come across. You will not find 13mm crystal beads easily as these are huge. The necklace part is 42 inches - very long! Add to this another 8 3/4 inches from the Center Medal to the tip of the Cross. The solid sterling heavy Cross has a very handsome Corpus; it measures 1 1/4 by 2 inches, and it is marked sterling with a hallmark in the back of the Cross. The sterling Center Medal measures 3/4 inch. The rosary weighs a whooping 108.7 grams.! We the crystal beads are genuine rock crystal or quartz. The rosary is very old and predates the more modern manmade crystals. Rock crystal, also known as quartz crystal or gem crystal is mined from the earth.
